Septembris, 2017/ September 2017

September started with Lauris’s Run. He has participated in the Runs before (2015, 2016) but this time a new challenge for him was Aquatlon, where he did swimming 100m (two lengths) and running 1 km. At the Finish we had very wet, but happy kid.

Autumn doesn’t count if it is not Back to School time. Our first day was 5th September. This year Markus is in Year 1 and Lauris is in Year 4.

Otrajā skolas dienā Markus atgriezās pie konstruēšanas un veidošanas aktivitātēm brīvajā laikā, un kopš tā laika gandrži katru dienu iznāk no skolas ar saviem veidojumiem. Šeit, lūk, robots!

We needed just two days at school and Markus turned up at school gates with junk modeling in his hands. It is Robot. Since then he has been every day out with variety of creations.

Of course, we are very happy about the Royal Couple expecting third baby. Fingers crossed the pregnancy will go well.

Jāsaka, ka grāmata “Have a New Kid by Friday” ir tiešām ļoti ieteicama mau un lielāku bērnu vecākiem.

By accident I discovered a very interesting American psychologist Dr. Kevin Leman and his video / audio speeches, and even bought his books. I  highly recommend the book “Have a New Kid By Friday”. There are so many great advice and working suggestions how to deal with many tricky situations on the parenting road. For me it is now as handbook where I can look and find some good answers how to deal with situations in our family. I’m currently reading ”The Birth Order Book”, but so fare not as passionate as previous, maybe will get better.

Since we were back From Latvia, boys were participating a Summer reading challenge “Animal Agents” at the local library. They red 6 books completely by their choise. As I said, “Choose books what you think are suitable for your reading level.” Not sure that I would choose so long and complicated but they did, even some evenings needed my encouragement.

Arī dārzs palēnām kļūst rudenīgāks, kaut gan vēl ziedu pilns.

The Autumn now is into garden too,; flowers are changing into autumnal colours, even still trying to make me happy with some brightness.

In the end of Month we all cough a bit of cold. The weather was grey, rainy and wet and it wasn’t surprise to be under the weather. Now it’s all well as days get more sunny.

I love these precious morning with Olivers. We go to toddler groups, meet with friends for coffee, chatting, playing, puddling and overall enjoying the Autumn.
