Rīga, mana Rīga / Riga, my Riga

Riga is still My City, My Capital. It is so beautiful and , of course, it keeps so much my childhood and youth memories, secrets and happenings. Walking through the Old Riga, it seems that every corner has its own story, has its own memories.

So far when we visited Riga, we used to avoid visit to Old Riga, boys were small and they wouldn’t have enough patience to listen to my bubbling about my past. I think they wouldn’t pay the right amount of admiration what Old Town’s architecture and history deserves. And that would make me sad therefore before we used to travel around Latvia countryside, spend lots of time on the beach and visit family and friends. However, this time I knew that we will spend more time in the Old Town and will give a try to look at the memories of my childhood and youth. We were there two days, each day good amount of time. These hours were fulfilled with lots of my memories and historical stories, all mixed up in one  super personal and meaningful walk.
