Laterna kā paštaisīts lampas abažūrs/ Lantern as Homemade Lamp Shade

When Lauris saw my Homemade Lamp Shade, immediately he wanted to make one by himself. So I started thinking, how to create lampshades, which is suitable for 4-year-old boy. Then I saw beautiful Chinese lanterns on wwww.ebay.co.uk and bought a white one in mind about to let Lauris explore decorating the round shape. Lauris chose paint it in stripes. Then with folded/origami paper planes we made it more boyish and recently very actual. Result- again we have a new lamp shade (for corridor) with added value (Lauris’s work).

By the way, Chinese lanterns are available in different sizes, different colours, and can be used in so much ways – as lampshades and as garden, rooms, celebration, festive decorations. I really love them!
